Welcome to the Department of Architecture at East Los Angeles College

The Department of Architecture at East Los Angeles College is one the most extensive in the Los Angeles Community College District in terms of course offerings, programs, and faculty. We are committed to provide our students with the highest level of professional education in the field of architecture and to prepare them to the societal, cultural, and environmental challenges that they will face in their careers.

Since 1945, generations of students have studied architecture at our college. Some students have continued their career goals as university transfers and some have joined the work force in architecture or related fields. This site showcases some of their projects.

We have approximately 300 students per semester and our faculty is composed of 12 members including five full-time instructors.
