Alexis has been a faculty member of the Department of Architecture at ELAC since 1997. Prior to teaching at ELAC, Alexis worked with numerous architectural firms in Los Angeles including Richard Meier and Partners, Zimmerman Architects and Planners and Ted Tanaka. Alexis has also taught a number of design studios at Woodbury University in Burbank and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He is presently involved in the design of custom residential and commercial projects with his own office, ANDesign.
Besides teaching and practicing architecture, Alexis enjoys spending time with his wife Susan and son Rio and playing classical/flamenco guitar.
