LOCATION:

East Los Angeles College is located in the San Gabriel Valley, East of downtown Los Angeles. The college is conveniently situated off the 60 Freeway (the Pomona Freeway) one block West of Atlanic Boulevard.

ACCREDITION:

East Los Angeles College is a two year community college that is part of the Los Angeles Community College District which comprises nine colleges. The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools.

STUDENTS:

Our student population reflects the remarkable diversity of Southern California and Los Angeles. The combination of cultures and languages makes for an energetic campus with a broad outloook.

CLASSES AND PROGRAMS:

Many of our students in the Department of Architecture transfer to four-year university program, but we also offer many Certificate and Skillm Sets Programs. Several classes in our Department are offered in the evening for the working student.



Welcome to the Department of Architecture at East Los Angeles College.

Our department is one the most extensive in the Los Angeles Community College District in terms of course offerings, programs, and faculty. We are committed to provide our students with the highest level of professional education in the field of architecture and to prepare them to the societal, cultural, and environmental challenges that they will face in their careers.

Since 1945, generations of students have studied architecture at our college. Some students have continued their career goals as university transfers and some have joined the work force in architecture or related fields. This site showcases their projects.

We are located in the E7 building - the Technology Building - on the ground floor.
