SPRING 2010:

• Due to ongoing budget constraints, our department had to cancel the Interior Design and Transportation classes for the Spring semester. We hope however to offer these classes again in the future.

• Most classes are now full, but seats are still available in some classes. If you are interested in a class, enroll as soon as possible. If the class you are interested in is full, come the first day of class and check with the instructor if a seat has become available.

• Our annual Advisory Committee meeting will be held on February 4th, 2010. New strategies for the department will be discussed.

GREEN TECHNOLOGIES:

• Several classes including Green Technologies and Sustainable Design have been approved by the College Curriculum Committee. We hope to offer some these classes in Fall.

• Our Department co-hosted a LEED Green Associate exam prep training with GSTCP and USBG-LA on 01.22.10. Despite a terrible weather, the seminar was very well attended and was a success.
