 Some Facts about our Department...

• The only separate Department of Architecture in the Los Angeles Community College District
• Five full time faculty, five adjunct faculty, and two architectural instructional aids
• An average of 300 students per semester
• Fifty course offerings including: Design, Technical Documentation, Computer Aided Design, Building Code, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Construction Documents, Perspective, Rendering, Photoshop, 3D Modeling, Animation, Portfolio Design, Sustainable Design...
• More than twenty scholarships and awards delivered each year to merit students.

Transfers

Every year, a large number of our  students transfer to a local university program such as USC, Woodbury University, Art Center, New School of Design, SCI-Arc, or Cal Poly Pomona.
An increasing number of our students also transfer to out of state schools and in particular to East Coast institutions such as Pratt, Cooper Union, Syracuse, University of Pennsylvania, and Illinois Institute of Technology to name a few.
