James Kawahara is a Licensed Architect in California. He was principal and owner of an architectural office in the ‘80s focusing on design and production of high end estate residences and interior design.
 
James worked for numerous architectural firms and company “in-house” architectural departments (Disney Company, Disneyland-Architectural and Engineering Department, Children's Place and Forever 21).  Experience and firm work includes low rise commercial, multi-family, single family developments, estate houses and developer interior design (Homestead Group) and residential interior design. Retail design and production with J.T. Nakaoka & Associates (Sharper Image, Bergdorf Goodman, Walking Company, Rampage…), Disney Company (Disney and ESPN Stores), Childrens Place (Childrens Place stores) and Forever 21 (Forever 21store design and production).
 
Passions include appreciation of the fine arts and inventing.
