Greg is a native of California growing up in and around Whittier and East LA. Greg completed his education at the University of Southern California, School of Architecture in 1988 and was also a Scholar in Residence at the Greene and Greene designed Gamble House in Pasadena from 1987-1988.
Since graduating from USC, he has worked in the architecture and construction fields and operates his own design firm his in Pasadena where he has won design awards in both the city of Alhambra and Los Angeles.
Greg is also a singer/songwriter/guitar player who regularly performs his brand of Junkshop Blues around Los Angeles clubs under the name Buddy Zapata
