32 new students are enrolled in Environmental Design 101 this 2013 Fall semester. They are from 12 different countries and speak 10 different native languages. From a kindergarten teacher to a student who works graveyard shift at UPS. From a fresh out of high school graduate to a University of California student. From an international student from China to another from El Salvador. From one who drives daily from Santa Monica to another who rides the Metro from Long Beach. They are all here interacting and learning at Elac Architecture Department. During the next 13 weeks they will share an impressive amount of experiences on this journey that will undoubtedly be remembered for the rest of their lives.
