My first week as a full time teacher was a flurry of activity, things I had to check, forms to be filled and new faces to meet in administration and faculty groups. Above all for me, it was connecting with the students and starting a new school year in Elac Architecture Department.
I am excited to be here and I have many reasons for that.
I believe architecture must reach to people and there are no places in higher education can do this better than community colleges. We are our community, we build our community and we are needed as architects by our community.
I am glad to be part of this environment and my goal is to be an active member taking a part in that process.
As we start this new blog, I would like to invite all of you students and the faculty to contribute as much as possible.
